Introducing Nurture Studio

Welcome to Nurture! We are so happy to be here and to introduce ourselves.

Nurture is a creative design studio with a conscience. Our mission is to cultivate creativity, foster growth, and empower organisations big or small through exceptional design. We believe that every business, regardless of its size or budget, deserves access to high-quality design solutions that help elevate, amplify their message, and drive positive impact. Whether you're seeking to carefully construct a new identity, create captivating digital experiences, or grow your existing business, our passionate team is dedicated to turning your ideas into reality. From business cards to branding, leaflets to web design, we have all the relevant experience and know how to help your business flourish, whatever the size.

Aside from all the industry speak, who are we, really?

We are a small, independent, family run design studio from Stratford Upon Avon, UK. Nurture is run by a husband and wife team, and our beautiful little Greek rescue pup Ivy.

Our Head of Design is Adam, a country music loving, lifelong Wolves fan whose blood contains mainly chocolate. After a decade of working in multiple design studios across the midlands, Adam decided to take the leap into becoming a freelance designer during the dreaded Covid pandemic. Adam worked as a freelancer for four years, designing predominantly for the music industry, as well as many other dream opportunities coming his way. Adam has designed for companies such as Sony Music, LiveNation, Universal Music, Epitaph Records, FX Networks, Jaguar Landrover, Volvo and Bupa, and worked with bands such as Arctic Monkeys, The 1975 and Architects. After four years of freelancing, Adam decided to pursue an even bigger dream of his, setting up a design studio of his own with his lovely wife (his lovely wife is writing this). Enter Nurture… When Adam set up Nurture, the goal was clear for it to be a creative design studio with a difference, this one would run with a conscience. Adam will be the person who will implement your vision and bring your goals to fruition.

Our Head of Client Experience is Charlene, a Kpop loving, true crime obsessed, animal lover. Charlene has spent many years working in client relations and project management across various industries, such as some of the world’s biggest beauty brands, charities and alternative healthcare companies. Charlene will more often than not be your first point of contact, and will help you understand what we do and how it can benefit you. She will be your main point of contact for the discovery sessions to dig deep into what you need and get to the heart of how we can best help you.

Most importantly, our Treat Controller is Ivy, a beautiful rescue dog from Greece who was found on the top of a mountain, masquerading as part of a litter of Golden Retrievers, when in reality she is a small black and tan German Shepherd mix. Ivy will most likely feature in client calls making her voice heard in the background, and will make appearances on video calls at the request of the client.

Nurture also has a bank of experienced and talented freelance creatives that we work regularly with, which will ensure that we always have the best person for the job, no matter what it is.

The most important part of Nurture, is the conscience driving our studio, and our charitable work. We want to make sure that great design work is accessible to everyone, no matter the size of your company or your budget. We will work with our clients and their budget to make sure that we deliver an outcome that everybody is happy with, while doing some charitable work along the way.

Charity work is very important to us as people, and is who we are to our very core. Each year, Nurture will choose a charity sponsor, and donate a percentage of our annual income to help the charity with their work. This year, our charity sponsor will be the incredible Wunderdog Rescue. Wunderdog Rescue is a small, Brighton based dog rescue charity, that changes the lives of injured and disabled dogs all over the world, by rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming them. Please take a minute to look at more information about Wunderdog Rescue on their website, and consider making a donation if you can https://www.wunderdogrescue.org/

If you would like to find out more about how we can help you or just fancy a chat, feel free to get in touch with us at Nurture via hello@designbynurture.com.
